Detectives investigating a stabbing at Barking railway station are today appealing for further information.
At 10.13pm yesterday evening (13 January) officers were called to reports of a fight involving a group of people on the station platform.
A man, aged 32, was taken to hospital for treatment to laceration wounds. He was later discharged and arrested on suspicion of affray.
Two men were arrested at the scene. A 23-year-old on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, and a 19-year-old on suspicion of affray.
Officers are appealing to anyone who was at Barking station at the time who may have witnessed the incident or have any information which could help their investigation to get in touch by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 714 of 13/01/23.
