Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a girl was sexually assaulted on a train in Glasgow.
At around 8pm on Monday 9 June, the 18-year-old victim was sat on a train from Glasgow Central to Ayr when a man sat beside her and sexually assaulted her.
The man was described as a slim white man in his early twenties with short dark hair He was wearing a yellow Columbia jacket and black joggers and was carrying a green duffle bag.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information, to come forward and assist the investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 555 of 10 June.
Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
