Detectives investigating a death on the railway in Lincoln are today appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Officers were called to Lincoln High Street level crossing at 8.07pm on Friday 11 June following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Paramedics also attended, however sadly a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family have been informed, and officers continue to work to establish the full circumstances of his death.
They are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or was in the area at the time of the incident, as well as anyone who has any footage caught on a mobile phone or CCTV camera.
