Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an assault at Saltcoats Railway Station.
On Sunday 22 June a man was assaulted by two men with a metal pole on the railway bridge at Saltcoats Railway Station, the victim sustained multiple injuries, he was taken to hospital for treatment.
Two men left the station.
One man is described as white, in his early thirties, approximately 5ft 10ins tall of a slim build. He wore a grey-blue tracksuit and a black hat.
The second man is described as white, also in his early thirties and wore a pink/red matching shirt and shorts set and had a sleeve tattoo on his right arm.
Officers are appealing for witnesses who were at the station, or anyone who recognises the descriptions of the men to text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40 quoting crime reference 2500074564.
