Officers investigating an assault at Carmyle station are today appealing for further information.
At 8.50pm on Friday 20 August, the victim was struck in the face by another man as he got off a train.
The man is described as 30 years old, of medium build, bald, with tattoos down the left side of his face and neck. He was also with another man who is described as 30 years old, bald, of medium build wearing a light-coloured t-shirt, jeans and carrying a plastic bag.
The victim has not yet made contact with the police and despite local enquiries, officers have been unable to identify him. Officers are appealing for him to come forward to assist the investigation.
