Appeal following incident on board a train between Edinburgh Waverley and North Berwick

British Transport Police have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist their enquiries into an assault which occurred on board a train from Edinburgh Waverley to North Berwick on Tuesday 18 April 2023 around 5:30pm.

Officers believe that the male shown in the images may have information that could assist them and would urge the male or any members of the public who recognise him to contact police.

The male is described as white, over 6ft tall, aged between 30 and 50, bald, wearing a black hooded top, black puffer jacker, black trousers, black shoes and carrying an orange carrier bag. The male possibly has an Eastern European accent.
