Misconduct Hearing Outcome PS Michael While
PS Micheal While attended a Misconduct Hearing at the PSD offices, 4th Floor, British Transport Police, Camden, London NW1 9LN between the 21st and 23rd August 2024 to answer allegations relating to breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour as in Honesty & Integrity, Authority, Respect & Courtesy and Discreditable Conduct.
It was alleged that on the evenings of 20th, 21st and 30th June 2023 PS While instigated and/or engaged in inappropriate text message conversations with PC A and that these messages were sexual in nature,
It was further alleged that on the evening of the 30th June 2023, the Officer sent PC A an image of his lower half via mobile image share application, Snapchat.
The Panel found that the allegations amounted to gross misconduct and that they breached the standards of Professional behaviour relating to Honesty & Integrity, Authority respect & Courtesy and Discreditable Conduct
The officer was dismissed without notice.
