The family of Devin Gordon, 13, who very sadly died on the railway in West Lothian are today paying tribute to him.
Officers were called to Bathgate railway station at 2.43pm on 19 January following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Paramedics also attended, however sadly Devin was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
Devin’s family said: “Our lives have changed forever and will never be the same without our precious boy. We will miss him everyday for the rest of our lives.
“Thank you to everyone that’s payed tribute to Devin and those that have sent us condolence messages during this extremely difficult time.
“We would like to ask that our privacy is respected as we come to terms with the tragic loss of our young son.
“Devin will live in our hearts forever”.
