What is suitable for Restorative Justice?

Restorative Justice can be considered for any case and if a victim requests RJ we will do our best to facilitate this, however careful consideration will be given to each case based on its merit.

What if it is decided that Restorative Justice isn’t appropriate?

It is not always possible to take a restorative approach, this could be for a number of reasons, however we will always keep you informed so that you know what stage the restorative process is at.  However, if it is not possible for us to continue we will inform you and let you know why.

Following assessment if Restorative Justice is not appropriate you will be informed of the reasons why this decision was made.
