Current neighbourhood policing
priorities
| 1. Deter offences of Antisocial
behaviour at Shepherds Bush |
Result
As of January
By conducting a straight comparison between the three months
prior to the ASB being introduced ASB crimes have remained the
same, By comparing it to last year there has been a decrese in
reported incidents.
Although ASB has not been reduced
from September 2011 to December 2011 there was a 30%
reduction of reported crimes at Shepherds Bush, This is a
very positive result especially as covering most of the run up to
Christmas
|
| 2. Deter Sexual offences between
West Ruislip and Epping over the Christmas Period by increasing
patrols and staff awareness |
Result
As of January
As a result of the work conducted on this priority
This year there have been 7 reported sexual offences over the
festive period which is the same as last year. There were
also 7 reported offences in the month before.
Throughout 2011 the number of offences has been increasing so
now for it to remain stable can be seen as a positive, especially
with larger crowds then expected commuting into London over the New
Year period
High visibility policing at key stations helps improve relations
between rail staff and BTP and is also reassuring to commuters
travelling on the system.
