Current neighbourhood policing priorities

1. Reduce reports of anti-social club ticket touts at Piccadilly Circus Tube Station

You Said:

Piccadilly Circus is a busy commuter station with a large number of passengers using it. The specific problem at the station are a number of reports from staff regarding an increase in unauthorised club ticket touts behaving in anti-social manner and obstructing exits at the station when passengers are entering or leaving the station on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.

We/Our partners have:

In the month of April 2012

Liaised with our colleagues from the Metropolitan Police, the local council Noise and Licensing Officer and London Underground staff at the station.
Conducted joint operations with the above to deal with touts.
Conducted high visibility patrols at problem times to deal with the touts in conjunction with the Metropolitan Police Service.
