To apply for accreditation private sector
organisations need to submit an application to the Association of
Chief Police Officers Crime Prevention Initiative (ACPO CPI).
Application forms can be obtained from ACPO directly or
downloaded here
BTP will receive a report from ACPO and will then assess whether
accreditation can be granted and advise the company of the outcome.
If the application is successful individual members of staff can
apply to become accredited. This process includes vetting
and training.
