ZIP IT: In the lead up to the busy Christmas season we know that theft of passenger property can be a problem for many of our train operating companies and, more importantly, can cause a major inconvenience for passengers. ZIP IT encourages passengers to keep their valuables out of sight and to report any stolen property immediately. The campaign has been rolled out across the rail network in England, Scotland and Wales and will be complemented by local operations and events.

Crowded Places: Train operating companies identified theft of passenger property as an issue they wanted us to address with an informational campaign. This poster campaign targets passengers between 16-25 years of age, identified by Passenger Focus as the group most worried about the theft of their belongings whilst travelling on the railway. The campaign was designed to stand out amongst the many other posters on the network and to convey both visually and by text a reminder to passengers to be mindful of their belongings.

Light, Camera, Action:

The objective of this campaign is to educate and inform passengers that officers are patrolling the network at all hours of operation and that during the late night hours, when people feel most vulnerable, we have increased patrols to build confidence and reduce the fear of crime.
