The Disability Discrimination
Act 1995
The Disability Discrimination Act 1995 makes it unlawful to
discriminate on the grounds of disability in relation to
employment, education and access to goods, facilities, services and
premises.
Employment Equality (Age)
Regulations 2006
The Employment Equality (Age) Regulations 2006 makes it
unlawful to discriminate either directly or indirectly against
persons on the grounds of their age.
Employment Equality (Sexual
Orientation and Religion/Belief) Regulations
2003
The Employment Equality Regulations 2003 were set up to protect
workers from direct or indirect discrimination on the grounds of
their actual or perceived sexual orientation, religion and
belief.
Race Relations Amendment Act
2000
This is an amendment to the Race Relations Act 1976 and places a
statutory general duty to promote racial equality. Public
authorities must therefore not only tackle any unlawful racial
discrimination but actively work towards preventing it.

workers from discrimination on the grounds of their colour, race,
nationality and ethnic and national origins.

1975
The Sex Discrimination Act 1975 was set up to protect both men
and women from direct or indirect discrimination on the grounds of
their sex.
