Making it easy to get in contact

We publish contact phone numbers, email addresses and our website address on all our correspondence and marketing material so we are easy to contact. For a non-emergency you can contact us:

 

  • by phone
  • by letter or email
  • by visiting us at a BTP station

In an emergency always dial 999

 

Non-emergencies

For non-emergencies call BTP’s freephone number 0800 40 50 40. When reporting an incident you will be required to give the following information:

 

  • your name and address
  • a contact number where you can be reached
  • time and date of the incident
  • where the incident took place
  • details of what happened
  • descriptions of those involved

 

Reporting a Crime

If you have witnessed a crime – report it. Your information may help bring offenders to justice.

 

Anonymous Reporting

If you want to report a crime or have information about a crime and wish to remain anonymous, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Crimestoppers is a UK-based charity working to stop crime.
